What is Energy Work?
Our bodies have balanced patterns and flows of energy in and around them. We are all made of energy, the universe is energy. When the flow of energy is disrupted or blocked, the patterns restricted or interrupted in any way, it can result in dis-ease and illness of the physical body. The human energy field or aura, as it is commonly known, can hold blocks that restrict the proper flow of energy. Energy work is used to clear or release these blocks, which facilitates the flow of energy through a person’s aura and physical being.
Energy work can and does release emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual blocks in the human energy field. Energy work can be done in various ways and has been practiced by many different cultures and religions throughout recorded history.
My training
As an Intuitive, I have studied various modalities of Energy Work including Reiki, Energy Healing Basics, Wiccan healing techniques, and Crystals and their various uses. I am a Certified Reiki Master; I use non touch, above the body in the human energy field, and the light touch of Reiki. I use Crystals to facilitate the flow of energy and to restore balance. These may be placed onand around the body by me or by the client. I am also available for Spiritual Counseling as an Ordained Minister and founder of Daughters of Universal Wisdom.

Basic energy work is done by channeling universal healing energy. The hands are used to scan the body and the aura of the body for blocks, restrictions, and imbalance. Blocks are released, energy patterns are balanced and a proper flow of energy in and around the body is restored. This is achieved by directing universal healing energy to the human energy field, with the intent to heal and restore balance. Universal energy is available to all who wish to utilize it. The energy is directed by the practitioner to places in the aura where blockages or interruptions are located, and the energy flows to the most needed sites.
What may occur during and after a session
During a session a person may experience deep emotional release that has been held in their energy field. If this happens it may cause, crying, pain and deep seated emotional issues may surface. If a person is ready to release these issues, and it can be gotten through, deep healing can be facilitated.
As far as physical sensations during an energy work session, a person may experience various sensations such as a touching or stroking feeling, tingling, hot or cold. This is normal, and with work in the energy field it is all done above and around the physical body. Generally a person will feel lighter after a session, and grounding is needed. I will do this, and also teach you basic grounding techniques.
A cleansing may occur after a session, this might manifest as a head cold, headache, increased thirst, urination or bowel movements. In other words you may feel sick for a few days. This is usually nothing to worry about, as it is your body cleansing itself. If symptoms persist, you may just have a cold or virus, please see your licensed medical provider.

I am a minister and my work is spiritually based and I believe all healing is spiritual and divine in nature.
